These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of www.ssei.co.in and all websites, platforms, applications, courses, services, books, study materials, digital products, and related offerings owned, operated, or managed by SSEI and its legal entity, Exlytics Private Limited.

By accessing our website, purchasing any product, enrolling in any course, using our learning platform, attending live or recorded classes, downloading study material, or using any service offered by SSEI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy available on our website.

1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:

“SSEI,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to SSEI and its legal entity, Exlytics Private Limited.

“User,” “student,” “you,” or “your” refers to any person who visits the website, creates an account, purchases a course or product, attends classes, accesses study material, or uses any SSEI service.

“Website” refers to www.ssei.co.in and all related platforms, pages, subdomains, applications, and digital properties owned or operated by SSEI.

“Products” or “Services” include all courses, classes, books, notes, test series, combo courses, recorded lectures, live lectures, validity extensions, financial modeling programs, CFA, FRM, CA, ACCA, Analyst Stack, and any other product or service listed on the website.

“Content” includes videos, live classes, recorded lectures, books, notes, PDFs, question banks, mock tests, test series, images, graphics, presentations, software, study plans, worksheets, assignments, and any material shared by SSEI in any form.

- Validity extensions

- Recorded classes

- Live online classes

- Offline classes

- Any future product, program, service, or offering introduced by SSEI

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must provide accurate, complete, and updated information while registering, purchasing, or enrolling on the SSEI platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details, including username, password, OTP, registered mobile number, and registered email address.

Your account is for your personal use only. You must not share, sell, transfer, rent, or allow any other person to use your account or course access.

Any activity done through your account will be treated as activity done by you. SSEI will not be responsible for loss or misuse caused by sharing login credentials, device access, OTPs, or passwords.

SSEI reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account if account sharing, suspicious activity, misuse, or violation of these Terms is detected.

4. Course Access and Validity

Course access is provided only for the duration mentioned at the time of purchase or as displayed on the product page.

Validity starts from the date of activation, purchase, or as specifically mentioned for that product.

Recorded course access is valid only for the purchased duration. Once the validity expires, access may stop automatically unless the student purchases a validity extension, wherever available.

Course access cannot be shared, transferred, exchanged, resold, gifted, or assigned to another person.

SSEI may offer validity extensions for selected products. Availability, price, terms, and duration of such extensions will be decided by SSEI.

Completion of lectures, revision, tests, or study material within the validity period is the responsibility of the student.

5. Live Classes, Recorded Classes, and Batch Changes

Live class schedules, faculty allocation, batch timings, platform, mode of delivery, and class frequency may change due to academic, technical, operational, faculty-related, or unavoidable reasons.

SSEI will make reasonable efforts to inform students about major changes, but minor changes may be made without prior notice.

Live classes may be recorded and made available to students at SSEI’s discretion.

Delay, rescheduling, cancellation, or change in live classes due to technical issues, faculty availability, public holidays, emergencies, platform issues, or operational requirements shall not be treated as a service failure.

SSEI reserves the right to shift a class from live to recorded, online to offline, offline to online, or make other delivery adjustments where required.

6. Faculty and Course Content

Faculty names mentioned on the website are based on planned delivery and course structure. SSEI reserves the right to change, add, or replace faculty members due to academic, scheduling, operational, or unavoidable reasons.

Course content may be updated, modified, expanded, reduced, replaced, or reorganized to reflect syllabus changes, exam pattern changes, academic improvements, or internal decisions.

SSEI does not guarantee that every topic, example, question, or discussion will remain unchanged after purchase.

For professional courses such as CFA, FRM, CA, ACCA, Financial Modeling, Analyst Stack, and others, the student is responsible for checking the official exam body’s latest syllabus, exam dates, registration requirements, eligibility rules, and policies.

7. Books, Printed Material, and Courier

Where books or printed material are included in a product, dispatch will be done as per SSEI’s internal process and timelines.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on location, courier service, public holidays, weather conditions, strikes, logistics delays, or other external factors.

Students must provide a complete and correct delivery address, mobile number, and pin code at the time of purchase.

SSEI will not be responsible for failed delivery, delay, return, or loss caused due to incorrect address, unavailable recipient, wrong phone number, incomplete address, or refusal to accept delivery.

If a parcel is received in damaged condition, the student must notify SSEI within the timeline specified by SSEI, along with clear photos and unboxing proof where required.

Replacement of books or material will be subject to verification and SSEI’s internal approval.

Books, notes, and printed material once dispatched may not be returnable unless specifically covered under the Refund Policy or replacement rules.

8. Payment Terms

All prices, discounts, offers, taxes, and payment terms are displayed on the website or communicated through official SSEI channels.

Prices may change at any time without prior notice.

A purchase is confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation by SSEI or its payment gateway.

SSEI will not be responsible for payment failure, bank delay, payment gateway error, double debit, or pending transaction issues. Such issues must be taken up with the bank, card issuer, UPI provider, wallet provider, or payment gateway, as applicable.

Any tax, convenience fee, platform fee, or payment gateway charge may be charged separately where applicable.

9. Refund Policy

Refunds, cancellations, upgrades, downgrades, exchanges, and transfer requests will be governed by the Refund Policy available on the SSEI website.

By purchasing any SSEI product, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the Refund Policy.

These Terms and Conditions do not replace or override the Refund Policy.

Use of personal data, student information, payment details, communication data, cookies, and platform data will be governed by the Privacy Policy available on the SSEI website.

By using SSEI’s website, platform, or services, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the Privacy Policy.

11. System Requirements and Device Policy

Students are responsible for ensuring that their device, operating system, internet connection, and learning environment meet SSEI’s required specifications before purchasing or accessing any course.

a. Windows Requirements:

- Operating System: Windows 10 or above, 64-bit

- Processor: Intel Core i3 or above, or AMD Ryzen 3 or above

- RAM: Minimum 8 GB

- Storage: Minimum 128 GB available space

- Graphics: Integrated or dedicated graphics card supported

b. Android Requirements

- Operating System: Android 9.0 or above

- RAM: Minimum 6 GB

- Supported Devices: Smartphones and tablets

c. macOS Requirements

- Operating System: macOS 15 or above

- RAM: Minimum 8 GB

d. iPhone and iPad Requirements

- iPhone: iOS 15 or above

- iPad: iPadOS 15 or above

e. General Requirements

- A stable internet connection is required for uninterrupted learning.

- Bluetooth headphones and audio devices are supported.

- Each account can be registered on one mobile device and one laptop device.

- Users may switch between registered devices by logging out from the current device. Proper logout before switching devices is the sole responsibility of the student.

- Simultaneous login on multiple devices is not permitted.

- For the best experience, students are advised to use personal devices with administrator permissions.

- Office, college, or corporate laptops may have security restrictions that prevent the software from functioning properly. Any such restriction will be the responsibility of the student.

f. Not Supported Due to Security Reasons

- Multi-monitor setups

- External displays

- Screen extension

- Desktop computers

- Linux systems

- External USB storage devices

- Pen drives

- Hard drives

- Any restricted or unsupported device environment

g. Important Notice

- Students must review the system requirements carefully before purchasing or using SSEI software or digital courses.

- Issues arising due to unsupported devices, restricted systems, office laptops, corporate laptops, incompatible operating systems, unstable internet, or failure to meet system requirements will remain the responsibility of the student.

- Running background applications or using other applications while SSEI software is active is prohibited. If such activity is detected, SSEI may contact the student for verification.

- Technical issues specific to a student’s device, network, operating system, or environment may require additional investigation and may take 2 to 3 business days or longer to resolve.

You must not:

- Record live or recorded classes

- Use screen recording software

- Capture screenshots where restricted

- Download videos through unauthorized tools

- Share login details with any person

- Share, sell, upload, forward, or distribute videos

- Share, sell, upload, forward, or distribute PDFs, notes, books, tests, or study material

- Upload SSEI content on YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp, Google Drive, social media, websites, forums, or any public or private platform

- Create copies of SSEI content

- Resell or commercially exploit SSEI courses or materials

- Use external devices, screen mirroring, screen extension, virtual machines, emulators, or unauthorized tools to bypass platform restrictions

- Remove watermarks, security tags, or user-identification marks from any content

- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, tamper with, or bypass SSEI software or security systems

Any violation of this policy may lead to immediate suspension or termination of access without refund.

SSEI also reserves the right to take legal action, claim damages, report piracy, and pursue civil or criminal remedies under applicable laws.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided by SSEI is protected by intellectual property laws.

All rights in lectures, videos, notes, books, PDFs, mock tests, images, graphics, logos, designs, course structures, teaching methods, software, website content, and brand assets belong to SSEI, Exlytics Private Limited, its faculty, licensors, or content partners.

Purchasing a course or product gives you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access the content for personal learning only.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, or create derivative works from SSEI content without written permission.

14. Student Conduct

Students must behave respectfully with faculty, staff, counsellors, support teams, and other students.

Abusive language, threats, harassment, spam, false complaints, defamatory statements, offensive posts, or misconduct on calls, chats, emails, groups, live classes, or public platforms will not be tolerated.

SSEI reserves the right to restrict support, remove group access, suspend course access, or take appropriate action in case of misconduct.

15. Exam Registration and External Body Rules

SSEI provides coaching, training, academic guidance, and learning support.

SSEI is not responsible for exam registration, exam fees, exam centre selection, admit cards, exam date changes, eligibility rules, deferrals, exemptions, membership requirements, or result decisions made by external bodies such as CFA Institute, GARP, ICAI, ACCA, or any other authority.

Students must verify all official requirements directly from the relevant exam body.

SSEI does not guarantee exam registration, eligibility, exemptions, passing marks, results, job placement, salary, promotion, or career outcome.

16. Results, Performance, and Career Outcomes

SSEI aims to provide high-quality education and preparation support. However, student performance depends on multiple factors, including effort, attendance, practice, discipline, background, exam difficulty, and personal circumstances.

SSEI does not guarantee that a student will pass an exam, secure a job, receive a salary increase, get admission, obtain a rank, or achieve any specific career outcome.

Any testimonials, results, salary references, student stories, or success examples shown on the website or promotional material are individual outcomes and should not be treated as guarantees.

17. Communication and Official Channels

SSEI may communicate with students through phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email, app notifications, Telegram, website updates, or other official channels.

Students are responsible for checking official communication regularly.

SSEI will not be responsible if a student misses an update due to incorrect contact details, inactive email, unavailable phone number, notification settings, and unsubscribing to communications, or failure to check messages.

Students must ensure that their registered email address and mobile number remain active, subscribed and updated.

18. Offers, Discounts, and Promotions

SSEI may offer discounts, scholarships, coupons, bundles, launch prices, or promotional offers from time to time.

Such offers may be time-bound, product-specific, student-specific, or subject to eligibility conditions.

SSEI reserves the right to modify, withdraw, extend, or cancel any offer at any time without prior notice.

Discounts cannot be claimed retrospectively after purchase unless specifically allowed by SSEI.

19. Course Combos and Bundled Products

Combo courses and bundled products are offered as combined learning packages.

The components, validity, access rules, faculty, books, support, and delivery structure of each combo may vary by product.

If a student purchases a combo, the terms applicable to each component of that combo will also apply.

Partial cancellation, partial refund, partial transfer, or substitution of combo components will be governed by SSEI’s Refund Policy and internal rules.

20. Validity Extensions

Validity extension products are provided to extend access to eligible courses for a defined period.

A validity extension does not create a new course purchase unless specifically stated.

Extensions may not include updated books, new batches, live class access, additional support, or new course versions unless clearly mentioned.

SSEI reserves the right to decide which courses are eligible for validity extension and on what terms.

21. Technical Support

SSEI will make reasonable efforts to provide technical support for platform-related issues.

Technical support does not cover unsupported devices, outdated systems, unstable internet, restricted office or corporate devices, third-party software conflicts, hardware problems, or user-side network issues.

Resolution timelines may vary depending on the nature of the issue.

Some issues may require screenshots, screen recordings, device details, diagnostic checks, or additional verification.

22. Website and Platform Availability

SSEI aims to keep its website, app, and learning platform available and functional. However, access may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, server issues, internet failures, cyber incidents, third-party platform issues, or other technical reasons.

SSEI does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

Scheduled or emergency maintenance may be carried out without prior notice.

23. Third-Party Services

SSEI may use third-party services such as payment gateways, courier partners, video platforms, communication tools, analytics tools, software providers, and technology partners.

SSEI is not responsible for delays, failures, errors, losses, or issues caused by third-party service providers.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSEI and Exlytics Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or financial loss arising from use of the website, courses, products, services, software, or content.

This includes loss of data, loss of access, exam failure, career loss, opportunity loss, device issues, internet issues, business loss, or emotional distress.

SSEI’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the specific product giving rise to the claim, subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy.

25. Force Majeure

SSEI shall not be liable for delay or failure in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet failure, server failure, cyberattack, pandemic, government restrictions, strikes, lockdowns, transport disruption, faculty emergency, power failure, payment gateway failure, or any other unforeseen event.

26. Termination or Suspension of Access

SSEI may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any course, account, group, material, or service if the student:

- Violates these Terms

- Shares account access

- Engages in piracy

- Misuses content

- Attempts to bypass platform security

- Uses abusive or threatening language

- Provides false information

- Misuses offers or payment systems

- Engages in suspicious or fraudulent activity

In such cases, SSEI may deny refund, block access, remove the student from groups, and take legal action where required.

27. Changes to Terms and Conditions

SSEI reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated Terms will be posted on the website.

Continued use of the website, platform, courses, or services after changes are posted will mean that you accept the updated Terms.

Students are encouraged to review this page periodically.

28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, courses, products, services, payments, access, or use of SSEI content shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
