Building Block

Postby Akshays050793 » Sat May 31, 2014 7:47 pm

Sir,
My name is Akshay Sharma, i am pursuing CA Final from Indore and i am registered with your centre in Indore.

I am having a query in context of housing finance which you taught us in class while Building Block session.

If we have to calculate EMI for 8years
No. of Installments---

X*PVAF(1%,96) = 1,80,00,000
then
X= 1,80,00,000/ PVAF (1%,96)

Then how are we going to calculate Annuity factor for 96 months. on calci

I remember you shared one shortcut
so i will be very grateful if you share that short cut once again.

Thanks and Regards
Akshay Sharma

There is a direcr formula for the present value annuity factor I.e. PVAF = 1/i {1-1/(1+i)^n}
